Established in 2001, TUAJO, a 501© 3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization, was formed to utilize the arts, culture, education, and entertainment as a tool to address the harsh issues confronting youth, community, and environment throughout urban centers globally. Our immediate agenda is addressing the harsh issues confronting urban youth and community within the Greater Newark, N.J. Metropolitan Area and New Jersey urban centers. Our focus is on preventative solutions to curb crime and violence, address poverty, racial inequality, public health and safety, the environmental and social dilemmas adversely impacting urban centers. We strive to transform lives leading to more peaceful and vibrant communities.
