Positive Hip Hop MC Battle Competition Workshops
Students will be mentored by notable and historically legendary hip-hop artists on the art of MCeeing . The workshops feature the students being mentored and instructed on creating, developing and performing social conscious hip-hop composition and performance. Students will be educated on the history of MCeeing, modern poetry, spoken word and socially conscious music. These workshops are open to aspiring rappers, singers and poets. Workshops will take place during afterschool program activities at schools, community centers, concert halls and community venues as well as virtual platforms, streaming services and broadcast productions.

Hip Hop Dance/Breakdancing Competition Workshops
These workshops feature legendary break dancers, hip-hop dance enthusiasts and choreographers mentoring and instructing students on the art of breakdancing and hip-hop dance. They will guide the students on the hip-hop dance routines that will be showcased in the competitions. Students will be educated on the history of breakdancing, hip-hop dance, African-American dance, African dance, African Diaspora dance , Latino dance, indigenous dance, ballet, modern dance and more. Our breakdancing program and initiatives will assist in developing our youth in the art of breakdancing which has recently been adopted competitively as a sport for the 2024 Olympics. Workshops will take place during afterschool program activities at schools, community centers, concert halls and community venues as well as virtual platforms, streaming services and broadcast productions.

DJ Battle /Production Competition Workshops
Our DJ Battle and Production Workshops feature legendary hip-hop DJ’s mentoring and instructing the students on the art of DJ’ing. Legendary DJs and producers will mentor the art of DJ’ing (deejaying), as well as guide the students on producing musical compositions /arrangements to be used for the competitions.and performances .Students will be educated on the history of DJing ( deejaying) , history of the radio DJ / deejay (on-air personality) and the evolution of modern music production and recording. Students will also be provided tours and in studio sessions at local radio stations and audio recording production studios and facilities. Workshops will take place during afterschool program activities at schools, community centers , concert halls and community venues as well as virtual platforms, streaming services and broadcast productions.

Urban Art Battle Competitions
Our Urban Art Workshops feature legendary graffiti artists and urban artists mentoring students on urban art expressionism. Students will be instructed in developing their urban art displays that will be featured as part of our urban art exhibits, urban murals and showcased ongoing throughout the entire Hip-Hop Culture Program scheduling. The students will be educated on the history of graffiti, urban art, African-American art, African Diaspora art, Latino art, indigenous art, world art and more. The workshops mentors and educators will include legendary graffiti artists, legendary urban artists, art educators, art professionals, and others. Students will be provided tours of local museums, art galleries, public libraries, urban murals, local colleges and universities, etc. Workshops will take place during afterschool program activities at schools, community centers and community venues as well as virtual platforms, streaming services and broadcast productions.
